OK my latest technological complaint is the iPod Touch. This thing is neither an iPhone nor an iPod. I bought it thinking I could get wi-fi and my iPod together. Apple has totally messed up the iPod on this one though. In fact, the music player is so bad (the auto-rotate alone is enough to kill you) that there are many apps proliferating now on ways to improve it. The original iPod had a nice interface. Why mess with it? OK, its a touch screen now but why lock out the user with the stupid auto lock. I mean what if you have to suddenly pause it or change the volume yet oops, now you gotta deal with that god-foraken lock or kill your battery with an ever-on backlight. In other words trying to control it on the run is near impossible. Furthermore, the stupid thing is incompatable with previous devices such as bose stand alone speakers (OK it will play but won't charge). Grrrr!!!! Its hard for me to reccommend the iPod as much now.

In another note, Curse of the Werewolf is playing now at the Arvada Festival Playhouse and doing OK. I'm enjoying the part of Buzz Halliburton if nothing else.

As for Obama's Peace Prize, clearly an attempt to influence policy. Its unforutnate to whom the people that the Nobel Peace Prize Committee is awarding the prize lately as many of them, while doing noble deeds, don't necessarily deserve this honor. Nonetheless, congratualtions to the President and hopefully he can live up to what it means.
